Hello my name is Mrs Dawn Breeze and I am the Headteacher of Holy Family Catholic Primary School.
I have been in post since 2006 and feel privileged to be a part of such a wonderful school.
Every member of staff cares for every child in the school and it is this caring ethos that we have promoted throughout the school that has won us such a good reputation.
Part of the caring ethos means that we seek to maximise every child’s potential at all times and in all areas; this means that we seek to ensure there is enough challenge in every lesson to develop the minds of the mathematical and the literary, the imaginations of the creative, the curiosity of the scientists, the initiative of all, the independence of all and the confidence of all. For us at Holy Family, developing our pupils into fully confident, happy, creative, skilled, polite, respectful, caring human beings is what our job is all about. The staff provide excellent role models in how to communicate, care for and value others. Through our Forest School programme the children learn how to extend this caring for themselves and each other to the environment.
We constantly seek to provide unique learning experiences for our children through trips, visitors to schools, new programmes of learning, different approaches and themed weeks.
I hope that the school website provides you with all the information you would like about the school, but if there is something that it doesn’t cover please email us or come in and visit us anytime.
