Children are introduced to six sculptors: Marc Quinn, Michelle Reader, Barbara Hepworth, Jill Townsley, Brendan Jamison, and Eva Rothschild. Children make their own sculptures using a range of unusual materials: bread, recycled materials, boxes, plastic spoons, sugar cubes, and marshmallows. Children learn about figurative and abstract sculptures, and think about shapes and material.
