To complement their learning in Geography lessons, the children conducted research on existing earthquake proof structures and then designed their own. They collected all the materials they needed (with bonus points for recycled ones!) and created their structures collaboratively. These structures were then given the earthquake test to see if they could last for ten seconds on a table with vigorous shaking! All of the children's structures survived - well done year 4!
