This week we learned how our nose detects smell and how this can help us to taste more flavours! We also discussed ways that our sense of smell can help keep us safe.

Here are a few photos taken during our science investigation. We used our sense of smell to detect the mystery odours concealed in the cups. Then we described the smell and decided if we liked or disliked it. As you can see, we worked very sensibly and scientifically as we tested each smell and recorded our findings!
