Birds Nests And Butterflies
We marked the start of our Summer Forest School with the release of the butterflies that we watched change from tiny caterpillers in the Spring term. They took a while to leave the safety of their net enclosure but we waited patiently and enjoyed seeing them make their way out into the world.
Our outdoor clothing has changed from warm coats and wellies to long sleeved tops and trainers and our school field is once more green and buzzing with insect life.
This week we were inspired to build nests following the completion of our class story, 'The Magic Finger' by Roald Dahl.
Some of the children are planning their own magic activities for next week. Watch this space!
