Church Visit 09.03.23

KS2 went to visit our Parish Church, Holy Family for the morning on 9th March 2023. 

Fr. Eugene met us at the door and spent some time talking with us about the Stations of the Cross, which we helped him arrange into order, talking about the story as we did it. Fr. Eugene also spoke to us about Holy Week, asking questions which we answered very well!

After this, the children were spilt into two groups. One group went with Fr. Eugene into the Sacristy and talked with the children about the vestments and items that are used within a Mass. The other group stayed in the Church and completed a Stations of the Cross child service with Miss Cullimore. 

All children on this visit were incredibly respectful and took part in the questions and answers and the Stations of the Cross with reverence and reflectiveness.
