A day at Holy Family

A day at Holy Family is slightly different from our "normal" due to COVID restrictions.

Currently we are unable to welcome parents on site and ask that parents drop and collect their children at either the front or back gate (staggered start and finish times).

Breaktime is again in bubbles from either 10.20 - 10.35 or 10.40 - 11.  Lunchtime is from either 11.45 - 12.30 or 12.15 - 1pm

Children work and play in their year group bubbles with allocated members of staff.  

Our whole school assemblies are via Zoom and we often link into the Holy Family Parish morning Mass.  

PE and playtimes are outside as much as possible.

Currently we are unable to offer Breakfast Club but will keep you updated when this will be allowed.


Below is an outline of a typical day at Holy Family (pre-Covid)

8.55am        School day starts.  Singing of school song in playground

10.45am       Breaktime - fruit available

11.00am        Return to class

12noon         Reception, Y1 & Y2 Lunch 

12.20pm       Y3/4 Lunch

12.30pm       Y5/6   Lunch 

1.00pm         Reception,  Y1 & Y2 return to class

1.15pm         Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6 return to class

3.15pm         Pupils leave school from the door from the classrooms to the play areas, Y2 pupils meet their parents from the Thomas Aquinus room doors (between Year 4 and Year 6).
