During some of our art lessons in Term 1, the children were learning about Henry Moore, an artist who produced many pieces of art as well as sculptures of people during World War Two.

The children focussed on his work on people in air raid shelters. They drew sketches based on his work but also used items from the scrap store to build a life-size air raid shelter outside.
