Holy Family Catholic Primary School

BBC Wildlife Garden

This week, our gardening club visited BBC Broadcasting House in Bristol to take part in a biodiversity study. The children found ground beetles, flies, ants and a variety of spiders. They also looked closely at a variety of moths.

The children were excited to meet Mike Dilger from 'The One Show' and representatives from the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) who helped identify their findings.

Over the summer, the area will be develped into a wildlife garden to be used as an educational resource in the future.
