Holy Family Catholic Primary School

Parents

Parenting is not an easy job and at times things can get tough. It can be great and rewarding one day and challenging and helpless the next but we are here to help you! Don’t feel alone or isolated, come and have a chat.

Mrs Cross is our Family Support Worker based in school - she is in school Monday to Wednesday. We are also very fortunate to have Mrs Marples available on the end of telephone every day. Additionally, Mrs Eyres is our Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) who provides pastoral support to our children. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need support.

If you are interested in volunteering at Holy Family Primary School, please let us know. Our parent helpers are invaluable: whether it's hearing children read; preparing resources or displays; supporting teachers during forest school sessions; assisting on class trips; or sharing skills (such as cookery, art or gardening). Any time you can spare will be valued - get in touch today.

We strive to support children and families who may need a bit of extra support and guidance. Working in partnership with you, we aim to develop children’s wellbeing, whether helping with friendships, transition, bereavement, family break up, anxiety or anything else that may be causing a barrier to their learning or wellbeing.

As a school, we work with many outside agencies so we can sign post you in the right direction for more help and advice.  Please ring or email school.
